Proscodi membership requirements

Much debate has already arisen discussing the question of what determines the basic, minimum requirement to be considered a professional.

The eventual criteria for membership of Proscodi will reflect the opinions of both clients and designers. However the basic process will involve prospective members presenting a portfolio of requested items representative of their standard of work. All members will be required to pledge to adhere to Proscodi’s code of ethics and standards.

We estimate that approximately 90% of all working designers do not belong to a design organization. There are probably several hundreds of thousands of designers worldwide who would benefit from a membership supporting a strong Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Practices.

You are more than welcome to comment, suggest, complain, criticise or compliment. In fact, we desperately require your help. We’ll need dedicated volunteers who can offer their time by helping on a committee, reviewing applications, or serve in some other way: Perhaps, something as simple as spreading the word.
